LOGISTICS MANAGER

Xirman MMC is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join its team.

Working conditions:

• Salary: 2,000-2,500 AZN
• Workplace: Baku city, Binegadi highway 100

• Work schedule: 6 days a week

• Lunch is provided by the company
• Preference is given to candidates living in the nearby area

Job responsibilities:

• Managing daily fleet operations and planning logistic routes
• Preparing schedules for the driver staff, monitoring their daily activities, and ensuring compliance with traffic and disciplinary rules
• Participating in the driver recruitment process
• Organizing the adaptation of new drivers, providing instructions on internal rules and work processes
• Evaluating driver performance and taking measures regarding identified problems
• Checking the daily technical condition of vehicles, organizing planned and unplanned repair and service works
• Directing vehicles to service centers when necessary and monitoring the quality of the work performed
• Controlling the repair expense budget, ensuring the timely supply of spare parts and other necessary resources
• Setting fuel quotas, checking compliance with limits, and monitoring transport movement daily via GPS
• Ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods
• Monitoring the proper and efficient use of vehicles
• Ensuring timely execution of insurance (CASCO, Mandatory), technical inspection, traffic fines, and other administrative documentation
• Preparing proposals for the optimization of logistics costs and resources
• Preparing reports related to transport and drivers and presenting them to management
• Monitoring the implementation of logistics processes in accordance with the company's internal procedures and standards

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Organization, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar position
• Experience in a management position or as a garage manager is mandatory
• Experience in fleet management, driver coordination, and route planning
• Knowledge of transport sector management systems, internal procedures, and safety regulations
• In-depth knowledge of the technical structure and principles of operation of vehicles
• Ability to manage fault diagnostics and repair-service processes
• Knowledge of route optimization and fuel consumption management
• Knowledge of transport documentation — waybills, operational reports, expenses, repair acts, etc.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, good knowledge of Russian
• Ability to work in MS Office programs — Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work with reports, tables, and formulas in Excel
• Ability to work with GPS tracking systems
• Strong communication, team management, problem-solving skills, and stress resistance
