Official Call for Applications

The Azerbaijan Diplomacy Center announces the call for applications for students and young professionals interested in international relations, diplomacy, political science, global governance, and related fields.

This initiative, implemented within the framework of the Young Leaders and Diplomats Development Forum, aims to deepen young people's academic knowledge in international relations, foster diplomatic thinking, enhance their understanding of global governance processes, and promote their integration into international professional collaboration platforms.

ABOUT THE FORUM

The Young Leaders and Diplomats Development Forum consists of two main components:

• I. Academic Training Program
• Duration: 16 academic hours
• Format: Online
• Participation Fee: Free

Organizer: Azerbaijan Diplomacy Center

• Main directions of the training program:
• Theoretical and conceptual foundations of international relations
• Principles and institutional approaches of modern diplomacy
• Analysis of global political processes and international dynamics
• International decision-making mechanisms
• Diplomatic communication, leadership, and multilateral cooperation

II. International Forum and Interactive Sessions

Date: June 27–28, 2026

Venue: Dreamland

• In this phase, participants will benefit from the following opportunities:
• Participation in interactive discussions with diplomats, ambassadors, and international experts
• Strategic sessions on current international challenges and the global policy agenda
• Opportunities for international professional networking and institutional cooperation
• Familiarization with diplomatic practice and multilateral cooperation mechanisms

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPANTS

• Selected participants will receive the following opportunities:
• UK accredited diploma in International Relations
• Letter of recommendation signed by diplomats and international experts
• Official certificate and diploma awarding ceremony
• International professional connections and networking opportunities
• Official graduation ceremony

PARTICIPATION TERMS

• Participation in the academic training program is completely free.
• Registration fee for participation in the International Forum stage: 50 AZN
