HSE Specialist

 Job Information: 

·        Workplace: Baku city,

·        Work schedule: 5 days a week;

·        Salary: 2000-2500 AZN;

Responsibilities:

• Development of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system for the entire organization;
• Preparation of emergency evacuation and preparedness processes, ensuring the organization's and employees' readiness in this area;
• Creation, improvement, and management of internal HSE policies, procedures, and programs;
• Directing relevant company departments on HSE issues;
• Planning the annual HSE budget;
• Management of internal HSE risks;
• Compliance with fire safety and other workplace safety requirements, control over first aid, fire, and other safety equipment;
• Preparation and distribution of regular HSE reports, presentations, bulletins, posters, and communications, providing workplace statistics, information on new and existing hazards, and system changes to employees;
• Conducting regular inspections of workplaces, reviewing work practices, and recommending ways to develop processes and systems;
• Investigating violations of HSE regulations, as well as investigating accidents and incidents, maintaining records, and providing proposed solutions accurately and on time;
• Assessing safety risks related to tools and equipment, workplaces, and working environment, taking measures to prevent potential and existing hazards, and implementing preventive measures;
• Monitoring devices, maintenance, and other works that may pose a potential hazard, identifying repair work resulting from inspections and accidents;
• Ensuring ventilation and fire safety, compliance with legal requirements, and establishing communication with relevant state authorities;
• Conducting introductory training for new hires and regular, planned occupational safety training for employees, verifying employees' knowledge after training, and assisting in addressing any knowledge gaps identified, etc.

Requirements:

 Higher education (in a relevant field);

• Experience: 3–5 years (in HSE field);
• Age: between 30-45 years;
• Relevant certification is required;
• Knowledge of local HSE legislation requirements;
• Proficiency in office software;
  
•  Responsibility, promptness, and decision-making ability.
