Risk Management Specialist

Work conditions:

• Salary: 1000-1500 AZN ;

• Work schedule: Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 18:00;

• Workplace: Baku city.

Responsibilities:

• To develop and ensure the effective implementation of the company's overall risk management strategy;

• To identify, assess, and manage credit, market, liquidity, operational, and technological risks;

• To participate in the preparation, updating, and improvement of risk management policies, procedures, and methodologies;

• To establish risk measurement, monitoring, and reporting systems and ensure continuous control;

• To determine risk limits, monitor their implementation, and apply appropriate control mechanisms;

• To participate in ensuring compliance with AML/CFT and other regulatory requirements;

• To assess new products and services from a risk perspective and provide feedback;

• To ensure effective cooperation with the Internal Audit and Compliance departments;

• To prepare and submit regular risk reports to management.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, or other relevant fields;

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in risk management, banking, or FinTech;

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of risk management frameworks (ERM, Basel, etc.);

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills;

• Experience working with financial modeling and risk analysis tools;

• Knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other BI tools;

• Knowledge of Python or R programming languages is considered an advantage;

• Being responsible, detail-oriented, and having strong communication skills.
