Job Location: Baku (30th km, Salyan Highway) and Poti, Georgia - rotation

Job Description:

OGS Azerbaijan is seeking an ambitious, self-driven Project Engineer with experience in maintenance programs, capital projects from Oil & Gas, petrochemicals or process industry. The successful candidate will be someone with education in one of core engineering disciplines and hands-on experience with site execution, project estimation, bid engineering, preparing project documentation, writing method statements, working closely with site teams and who can actively coordinate and lead site execution on multiple projects.

There is growth potential to Senior Project Engineer and Engineering Lead with this role as the organization grows, depending on the incumbent’s performance.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering and demonstrable technical knowledge
• 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in capital projects and/or extensive maintenance programs within Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals or other MEP intensive industry
• Highly proficient with technical documents, preparing, writing and managing workflows
• Proven quantity and cost estimation experience
• Site survey and inspection experience
• Project Coordination experience assisting the Project Manager, working closely with Site Supervisors and teams on site
• Very good English language skills at business and technical level
• Residing in Baku, Azerbaijan with ability to travel up to 50% of the time (regionally);
• Advanced user of Excel
• Can start as soon as possible

Desired Additional Skills and Experience (in addition to the above):

• Bid and/or Value Engineering experience highly advantageous
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business or Finance
• Cost Control experience
• Planning and Scheduling software experience (MS Project or Primavera P6)
• Leadership experience
• Front end design experience from FEED/EPC projects;
• Russian language proficiency
• Can start immediately.
