  Artificial Intelligence and Automation Engineer

 Job Conditions:

•  Work schedule: 5 days;
•  Rest: Saturday and Sunday;
•  Location: Baku;
•  Salary: 2000 + AZN

Responsibilities:

• Voice AI (ASR/TTS): Developing Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech components, processing and improving audio data quality;
• LLM & NLP: Working with ready pre-trained models, implementing embedding and semantic layer optimization;
•  RAG and Chatbot systems: Building, deploying, and ensuring basic monitoring of a chatbot that responds based on the company's knowledge base and a RAG pipeline;
• Model training and optimization: Training models, hyperparameter tuning, performance and latency optimization (e.g., quantization, pruning), and preparing the inference process;
• Cloud deployment: Preparing models in the Azure environment and deploying them to the production environment (training and inference), ensuring stable operation of services;
• API and integration: Testing models and integrating them into existing systems;
• Automation: Developing Python-based automations and scheduled jobs for repetitive processes.

Requirements:

•  Higher education is desirable;
• Basic ML/DL knowledge: knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and transformer architecture; ability to adapt models to business use cases;
• Python: Ability to work with complex algorithms using OOP, async approach, and clean code principles;
• DL frameworks: Real project experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras is preferred;
• Model serving: Ability to build and deploy REST APIs with FastAPI is preferred;
•  Azure knowledge: Ability to work with Azure ML (or similar platforms), storage (Blob), Functions, and VM services; understanding of deployment in a cloud environment;
• Voice AI experience: Practical experience in ASR/TTS or audio processing (e.g., at Whisper or Wav2Vec level);
• Analytical thinking: Ability to translate business problems into technical algorithms and develop effective solutions;
• English language: Level sufficient to read and apply technical documentation and scientific articles in the field.
