Job Description

Sales Manager

Role Objective

The Sales Manager is responsible for sales growth, attracting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing partners, and increasing revenue from Profex events and services. 

Key tasks include implementing sales strategies, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of exhibitions and conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development (preferably in B2B and/or events);
  • Higher education in business, marketing, sales, or a related field;
  • Proven achievements in meeting and exceeding sales targets;
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and modern digital sales tools;
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to effectively organize one's own work and work autonomously;
  • Proactivity, result-orientation, high motivation for development;
  • Attendance and active participation in overseas exhibitions.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling sales plans (exhibition space, sponsorship packages, advertising services, and additional products);
  • Searching for and attracting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing partners;
  • Conducting calls, meetings, online presentations, and email campaigns;
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the database in CRM;
  • Preparing commercial proposals and presentation materials;
  • Market and competitor analysis, gathering client feedback;
  • Implementing repeat sales strategies and developing long-term partnerships;
  • Monitoring payment deadlines and facilitating timely payments;
  • Interacting with partners and internal teams (marketing, administration, etc.).
  • Participating in content preparation for sales and marketing;
  • Coordinating work at events, controlling the quality of services provided;
  • Preparing weekly and monthly KPI reports;
  • Performing tasks assigned by the Sales Director.
