Chief Engineer

CHIEF ENGINEER FOR ELECTRICAL AND LOW VOLTAGE SYSTEMS

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer for the technical management of electrical and low voltage systems in MEP projects.

Key selection criteria:

• Strong practical knowledge of electrical and low voltage systems;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP/construction projects;
• Experience in managing field teams and technical coordination.

 Working conditions:

• Salary: 2500–3000 AZN NET;
• Working hours: 6 days a week, full-time;
• Work location: Kalbajar or Fuzuli.

Job responsibilities:

• Technical management of electrical and low voltage projects;
• Coordination of contractors and subcontractors;
• Review of Shop Drawings and Material Submittals;
• Management of RFI, MIR, WIR, and Method Statement documents;
• Supervision of Test & Commissioning processes;
• Oversight of As-built documentation preparation;
• Coordination with other MEP systems and resolution of technical issues.

Technical knowledge:

• LV, MDB, SMDB, DB systems;
• Cable lines and cable tray systems;
• Lighting and emergency lighting;
• Earthing and lightning protection;
• Generators, ATS and UPS;
• Fire Alarm, CCTV and Access Control;
• Intercom, Data and Structured Cabling;
• SMATV/IPTV and Public Address;
• BMS/KNX and ELV integrations;
• Nurse Call and other low voltage systems.

 Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
• Experience in technical coordination for medium and large projects;
• Ability to read and analyze project drawings;
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office;
• Team management skills;
• Willingness to work in Kalbajar or Fuzuli.

 Preferred:

• Experience in hotels, business centers, hospitals, factories, and large residential complexes;
• Experience in Main Contractor or MEP Contractor companies;
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit, BMS/KNX and ELV integration;
• Experience coordinating with consultants and clients;
• Test & Commissioning experience;
• Knowledge of English and/or Russian languages.
