Chief accountant

Vacancy: Chief Accountant – Quba

Salary: 2500+ AZN (may vary based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the records of all financial and accounting transactions of the company;
• Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;
• Timely and accurate preparation of tax declarations, social security payments, and other government reports;
• Accounting for assets (property, inventory, etc.);
• Preparation of the company's annual budget and monitoring its execution;
• Optimizing costs and identifying financial risks;
• Conducting financial analysis and supporting management in decision-making;
• Implementation of internal control and audit processes;
• Managing the accounting team, organizing the division of work, quality control, and training new employees.

Requirements:

• Higher education (in Finance, Economics, or Accounting);
• Minimum 3–5 years of work experience (as a Chief Accountant or in a similar position);
• Deep knowledge of tax and accounting;
• Experience in preparing financial statements;
• Computer skills: 1C, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle Financials, MS Excel;
• Language skills: Excellent Azerbaijani, English is an advantage;
• Analytical thinking, responsibility, and leadership skills;
• Knowledge of first aid, fire safety, and workplace risk assessment is desirable.
