Chief Accountant (Construction sector)

• Salary: 2500 AZN;
• Work schedule: 6-day working week;
• Workplace: Baku city.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organization and control of all financial and accounting records for construction projects;
• Proper accounting of income and expenses, preparation of estimates and budgets; 
• Conducting and controlling settlements with contractors and subcontractors;
• Timely and accurate submission of reports to tax authorities, SSFA (State Social Protection Fund) and other government bodies; 
• Accounting for construction materials and fixed assets; 
• Management of banking operations, payment orders and cash funds; 
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports;
• Preparation for audit inspections and participation in the audit process;
• Organization and management of work distribution within the accounting team; 
• Control over the application of legislation related to accounting.

Requirements:

• Higher education in finance, accounting or economics;
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Chief Accountant in the construction sector; 
• High level of knowledge in 1C, Excel and other accounting programs; 
• In-depth knowledge of the Tax Code and accounting legislation;
• Analytical thinking, accuracy and responsibility; 
• Team management skills.
