Job Description

Internal Audit Specialist

Job Requirements

  •  Working days: Monday–Friday
  • Working hours: 09:00–18:00
  • Salary: 3000+ AZN (based on the candidate's knowledge and skills)

Responsibilities

  • Conducting audit checks in accordance with the annual audit plan;
  • Determining the compliance of business processes with internal rules and procedures;
  • Checking the correctness and reliability of accounting records and financial statements;
  • Reporting deficiencies in internal controls to management and preparing recommendations for risk mitigation;
  • Informing management about identified deficiencies and preparing an internal audit report;
  • Monitoring the action plan for completed internal audit checks;
  • Performing other tasks related to internal audit procedures.

Requirements

  • Higher education;
  • Knowledge of financial reporting;
  • Holding international professional certifications such as ACCA, CIA, CFE, etc., is an advantage;
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Fluent Azerbaijani language, knowledge of Russian and English is an advantage;
  • Ability to process and structure data;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Oral and written communication skills;
  • Effective time management skills;
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability for objective thinking.
