Accountant

Working conditions:

• Work schedule: 5-day work week;

• Working hours: 09:00 – 17:00;

• Workplace: Absheron district, Khirdalan city (near Masazir circle).

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and timely submission of unified declarations for VAT, withholding tax, property tax, and employment-related taxes;

• Checking compliance of expenses with the requirements of the Tax Code;

• Responding to letters, inquiries, and notifications received from tax authorities;

• Ensuring the preparation and submission of documents required during tax audits;

• Monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable and checking the consistency of balances;

• Entering purchasing operations into the Micro ERP program on a daily or monthly basis;

• Proper maintenance of accounting documentation and control over accounting transactions;

• Execution of other financial and accounting tasks assigned by management.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Audit;

• Work experience in the relevant field;

• Knowledge of current tax and accounting legislation;

• High-level proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel;

• Ability to use New e-Taxes, e-Gov, e-Sosial, and other electronic government portals;

• Possession of at least one of the PMS or ACCA F3 (FA) certificates;

• Practical experience in preparing and submitting corporate income tax and VAT declarations;

• Knowledge of accounting transactions and double-entry bookkeeping;

• Ability to work in the Micro ERP program is an advantage;

• Possession of local or international certificates in finance and accounting is an advantage.
